Youth Ministry

The Saint Rita Youth Group Ministry is more than programs and events. Its mission is to provide a Christian community for teens and give them the opportunity to share their unique gifts with the parish and neighboring communities. Throughout the year and under the guidance of Youth Minister Christina Elnahass, the ministry offers several opportunities for teens to engage in faith, fellowship, and fun!

SLAM Camp is back this summer! Camp runs from Monday, June 10 - Friday, June 14 from 8:15am - 1:30pm daily. It is open to all current 5th and 6th graders. The cost of SLAM camp is $150/camper and will include a t-shirt and participation in our outings to Skyzone, the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, Fun'n'Stuff, and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! We are also in need of adult chaperones and teen counselors. Adults who chaperone all 5 days of camp will receive free registration for their child, and if we do not have enough chaperones, we cannot have camp.

NCYC will be taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium and Indiana Convention Center.

The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is an exciting three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. Teens who will be in Grades 9-12 during the 2024-2025 school year will be able to attend. Teens will enjoy some of the best Catholic speakers, workshops, live music, electrifying large sessions, an amazing closing liturgy, and explore their faith in a supportive environment.
