Funerals

FlowerMany years ago, I read an article about Good Friday, Christianity's "Darkest Moment." The story was about the disciples' reaction to our Lord's death. It was their darkest moment. When we lose a loved one, as you have, it is one of our darkest moments. Words cannot capture our pain.

What I believe helps us at this time is faith and friends. The parish community of Saint Rita would like to help you at this moment. This guide is prepared to assist you with helpful information at the time of the loss of a loved one. If you wish to plan the funeral Mass or Service, I believe you will find this booklet helpful.  We ask that if you do intend to plan the liturgy, you complete the liturgy plan form and return it to the Parish Office at least 24 hours before the funeral. Additionally, if you would like a program made, please share this information with the Parish Office no later than 2 calendar days before the funeral.

Our prayers are with you and your loved ones at this time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Parish Office at 440-248-1350.

In warmest sympathy,
