Charity and Social Justice Commission Sponsors the Annual Christmas Care and Share Supporting Family Promise

Collection Weekend December 7-8

There are currently 21 homeless families living at the Family Promise center.

Christmas is an exceptionally difficult time for homeless and formerly homeless families still struggling to get back on their feet. Family Promise strives to help families return to a typical family life as soon as possible. Each year Family Promise sets up a Holiday Shop at the center for the families currently in shelter and also invites the over 200 families that have moved out of the center within the last two years and are now on their own in the community. At the Holiday Shop they are able to select unwrapped gift items (free of charge) for their children from NEW donated toys, clothing etc. Families are given an appointment time and number of gift selections based on family size. All the presents are wrapped, tagged and bagged for transport home to be hidden until Christmas morning.

For your convenience, Family Promise encourages you to shop their Amazon wish list.

This Amazon link will automatically provide the Family Promise shipping address at checkout
