2021-2023 Synod

The entire People of God, in all its diversity, is invited to participate in the upcoming Synod which will focus on the three pillars of a Synodal Church: communion, participation, and mission.

In April 2021, Pope Francis initiated a synodal journey that will last throughout October 2023. All baptized Catholics are invited to participate in this process of listening, dreaming, and discerning God’s call for the Church amid the present signs of the times.

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting listening sessions to become an active part in this mission. Saint Rita Parish has always been a welcoming parish, and we have a wonderful environment within our Church family. Every individual matters and each of our experiences are valid and in need of ears to listen. No one is excluded. All Catholics are encouraged to become part of this synod, whether they are actively engaged with parish life or have wandered away from the faith.
