People Helping People

Saint Rita Church

Come home for the annual Parish Picnic on Saturday, August 20 at 6:00pm! Enjoy live music, entertainment, food from a "Taste of Solon," games, raffles, and more!

It's time for the annual school supply collection for the Thea Bowman Center! Last year, the center was blown away by your generosity and the Youth Group was able to pack nearly 90 backpacks with school supplies for youth in need! Please click the link below to learn how you can play an important role this year and prepare inner city teens for a successful school year.

Become a Catechist!

The Saint Rita Parish PSR program is made possible by the benevolence and participation of Catechist volunteers. We invite you to share your love ofJesus with our children and teens! Previous teaching experience is NOT required, nor do you need to know every detail of the Church. The best way to learn is to teach, and we promise serving as a Catechist will ignite your own faith! If you'd like an opportunity to practice stewardship, here is your chance. Also, if you serve as a Catechist, the registration cost of PSR is waived for your child(ren).

Join Us on the Journey

Take a journey with the Family Fellowship Ministry and enjoy lots of opportunities for faith-filled fun! Families of all ages are welcome! Attend our monthly Family Mass or take advantage of some wonderful opportunities to connect with families throughout our parish.

Angel Scholarship Fund

The parish community has an opportunity to support Saint Rita School and Catholic education through Ohio tax credits! Participation in the Angel Scholarship Fund means tax payers can reallocate taxes they'd pay anyway to the state of Ohio, and instead contribute funds to generate tuition assistance for Catholic school families!

Grow in Faith

"Growing in Faith" is a monthly publication that helps adult Catholics to discover the hope and joy of our Catholic faith.

In August, you will learn ways to deepend your trust in Jesus and God's will, dive into unreciprocated kindness, and learn more about Mary's Assumption.
