I am a Child of God

         Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:14

 

  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word will is held during 10:30am Mass.
  • All parishioners ages 3-10 are invited to join the Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
  • The Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry is aimed at inspiring our young ones with Jesus’ message. Those interested in helping can volunteer to be a: 
                      Session Facilitator:

  • Walking children back to St. Mark’s Chapel during the 10:30 am Mass

  • Reading child adapted scripture readings

  • Engaging children in a discussion of reflection based on the Gospel Message

                   Session Assistant:
  • Accompanying children to St. Mark’s Chapel during the 10:30 am Mass

  • Help the facilitator maintain children engagement and attend to children’s needs

  • Monitoring the Mass in the main church for liturgy of the word conclusion
