" You get more out of going to Mass when you're involved as a server or something."
This is what a group of  teens involved in the
altar server, lector, and music ministries
were saying when we got together recently.
If you have ever thought about joining one of these ministries, please contact me and I can point you in the right direction.
And thank you to all of you who currently serve as servers, lectors, cantors, instrumentalists, and ushers.

Have you been wondering where our team has been and can collection that normally happens in January?
Our team is working on a new mission this year called Mission Lent. In scripture we are called to Give Alms, Fast and Pray. So for Lent our team is going to do just that!
ALMS: Donate can good
Fast: Consider fasting from a certain food you are donating
Pray: Pray for those the food is going too.
Our goal this year is to donate 4,000 cans of food to St. Vincent de Paul, Thea Bowman Center, and Center of Hope.
Look for an email soon with all the details of our Mission Lent. There will be a lot of great service opportunities to give back to those in our communities, including our annual food collection!
Brought to you by The Souper Bowl of Caring team
To everyone that helped bring "The" gift of Christ's love to many of our home bound and elderly parishioners during the 12 Days leading up to Christmas.  We hope it made your Christmas as special as it theirs!!
