Our Patron Saint
St. Rita was born in 1381 in Roccaporena, Italy. She died on May 22, 1457 and is called the Saint of the Impossible because she accepted the difficulties and crosses in her life. Pope Leo XIII named Rita a Saint on May 24, 1900. Her feast day is May 22.

The Arms of St. Rita Church consists of a red shield charged with an annulet set in the center of the shield and surrounded, in the form of a cross, with four roses. The annulet and the four roses are each divided vertically gold and silver.
