| The organization was formed to assist adults in the age group 50 and above to come together and enjoy a wide variety of cultural, spiritual and social activities. The Empty Nesters Group of St. Rita Church is one of the more active groups in the Parish. The group offers a full calendar of events. Activities including outdoor exploring, hosting the ethnic food booth at the annual parish picnic, enhancing spirituality, and assisting with coffee and donuts after Sunday morning Masses four times a year. Individuals or small groups plan, organize, and direct each event in order to ensure the good ideas are quickly turned into action. |

| Empty Nester meeting are held the second Sunday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Emmaus Room of the Resource Center. The group publishes a monthly newsletter and events are posted in the parish bulletin. The Empty Nesters of St. Rita Parish are known for their love of food and zest for life!
